This category is a generalization of the 5.25in Double Density floppy disk format. On [[IBM PC]] systems these disks would typically store 360KB of data with a FAT12 format. But the same disks can be used on different systems such as the [[Commodore 64]] using a [[Commodore 1541 Floppy Drive]] ,  or [[Apple II]] using the [[Apple Disk II Floppy Drive]].
